Instructor: | Mary Wakeley |
Instructor Bio: | I'm Mary Wakeley a wife, mom, grandma and a person with a passion for horses and quilting. Originally from Illinois and now residing in Castle Valley, with my husband Mike and two basset hounds - Sheldon and Charlie. I've had the love to make things my whole life. Starting in 4-H to taking the challenge to make a quilt. I was hooked! I quickly loved exploring all aspects of quilting. I loved free motion quilting which turned in free hand quilting on my long arm. I also love paper piecing and have been certified by Judy Niemeyer/ Quiltworx. With my sense of humor and knowledge of quilting my workshops are fun and worth attending. For almost 20 years I have been teaching at quilt shops and guilds. I enjoy trying new techniques and sharping the passion of quilting. |
